I normally wear a foundation that blends in with my skin and looks almost undetectable. But for a special wedding, I would like to look 'made-up'. Can anyone recommend something please?
Can you not treat yourself to a professional make-over, if there's a lot of things you are unlikely to use again it may work out cheaper...............
Keep your foundation matching your own skin tone whatever you do and just go more dramatic with eye make up and extra layers of mascara and full slicky lips. Understated glamour is the look to go for imho, as Elvis says you don't want to look like something out of TOWIE :)
Stores such as Boots now have a little hand-held machine that they put on your skin and it helps the assistant pick out a suitable foundation colour. I've seen it on an advert, but don't know if there's a charge for this service. Good luck, I;m sure you'll look lovely whatever you decide to do.
Yes Elvis, not my idea of beauty. Some of them would be really pretty girls if they just under did it a bit more, but the whole drag queen look is really weird imho.
I think, as a one off, if you're not used to using make-up you should employ a specialist. They will be far better with eye make-up and are better at subtle face contouring etc............
Are you likely to be included in any of the photographs? If so I would go for a professional makeup if not then just do it yourself. Just do the eyes and mouth more dramatic as has already been suggested.
