Tiredness/ Lack Of Energy
24 Answers
hi anyone out there have any tips for combating extreme tiredness and lack of energy. have been to the doctors many times over the past few years with the same problem. go to bed tired , wake up tired and have very little energy, feel sluggish & putting on weight ( probably age related ) though I am active, have a horse & dog so getting enough fresh air and exercise I work and have a family to look after too. Have had blood tests over the years which have proven inconclusive

Perhaps a detox would help? You could be intoerant to a food that you eat regularly which is causing problems. Carol Vorderman did a really good book on detox. It's basically stopping food types and re-introducing them and seeing how you feel. I know that when I detox and fast I feel far far better than when I don't.
I would imagine you will have had bloods to see if you're vitamin D deficient but thought I'd just put up some of the symptoms of being deficient in Vit D in case it helps to know.
Some of the symptoms:
Fatigue - General muscle pain, muscle weakness - Weight gain - High blood pressure - Restless sleep - Poor concentration - Headaches - Bladder problems - Chronic pain - Muscle cramps - Joint pain - Constipation or diarrhoea
