Dot's had a liquid lunch I think. Sherr...I had new specs at the end of last year. Last week when I was birding I struggled to recognise anything in the distance. When I came home I fished out my old pair.....clear as anything... bliss. The new ones are obviously wrong but isn't it lovely when you can see clearly!!! x

I thought it might be something to do with the screen resolution on my ipad, didn't realise my eyes were so bad.

Same reason that I bought them Tony. A few years later I decided to get mt eyes tested. The optician told me I was driving illegally and I also needed distance glasses. The joys of getting older.

Oh well it creeps up on us doesn't it Jeza. I'm ok for distance it's just reading that I need specs.

I've just joined that club, Jeza.....reading, I knew; long distance, well I was horrified - health-wise, the eyes of a 16 year old ;-)

I've had to wear glasses full time from the age of 15. I'm now on my first pair of varifocals which are great. No more having to swap glasses to read.

I am messing about on the ipad and watching TV so having a bit of gyp getting used to them. Sure I will get the hang of it soon.
