Hi sqad hope you can help. My OH's Dad (63) has something not quite right with his face. His mouth on the left moves to the side when he talks and this is obvious when looking at him. He says it feels exactly like when you go to the dentist and the anaesthetic is wearing off and you can feel your lips pulling to the side, and it's difficult to drink properly. His right eye is also very teary and he has to keep wiping it. This happened about three days ago and came on suddenly. He has no other symptoms at all, as we suspected a stroke, but he's not slurring his speech, has no paralysis in his arms and feels otherwise fine. He's a devil to get to the doctor's, so I suggested I ask you. Hope you don't mind.

im sorry to disagree, but I would advise him to see medical staff today. ( better safe than sorry )

possibly just possibly CVA ( albeit) small. a B/P check would do no harm, but only my opinion me dear ! :)

CVA=stroke.

But I have explained to pixie, why it is isn't a stroke.
