Best Grey Hair Coverage For Men ? Help !!

i recently dyed my hair , it turned black then faded to a purple tinge grrrrrrr. i need to know what the best hair dye is for men ? i do not want to take the risk again and be left with a purple head.

This came up when I Googled 'men's hair dye'. Being bald as a coot myself I can't say if it's any good.

My husband once used one of these products for men and his grey hair turned purple and we all screamed with laughter. Needless to say he's now glad to be grey xx

Why can't men use womens hair dye?

I'm not sure, maybe there isn't a colouring that seems masculine enough? Or maybe just marketing?

That's just what i was thinking, ummmm. Beezaneez, you could try a temporary or semi-permanent women's hair dye. They wash out in 8/24 washes. When you find the colour you like, buy the same number in the permanent version.

Beez...try Pixie's suggestion. If it fades to purple'ish use Head & Shoulders to get the remainder of the dye out quicker.

It's a risky road to go down.

If a lady turns up at work with changed hair colour, it draws admiration and positive comments.

It's different though for a man. That's why I am just accepting my silvering temples, and telling myself it gives a distinguished look.

A male friend of mine uses brown colours as appose to black, it looks more natural.
