6 200 Mg Advil's Alot?

I had food with it but in pain / soreness so bad thats why i took them but also partially self harm .

Well it is more than you should have taken , but you know that anyway - you will feel rough for a while, get help if you have any difficulties getting your breath etc.


Also seek help for the reason for needing to self harm please.

are you in the USA? I don't think Advil's marketed this side of the Atlantic. Anyway, three is about the most you should take at one time (I'm not clear whether you took these all at once). Aren't there other painkillers - aspirin or paracetamol-based - that would help instead?

As Mamya says, if self-harm is at the basis of this, it's probably the real thing you need to tackle.

Advil is just ibuprofen isn't it? if so then you have taken 1200 mgs which is only just over the UK recommended normal dose.

that's the UK recommended dosage for a whole day. The recommendation is 400mg every six to eight hours, four hours between doses. I don't know how long TechGeek's usage was spread over.

Yes I understood that it was not an overdose of any great amount, but worth noting any ill effects that may occur. People react differently.
