Banged my head last night

I banged my head last night and have a dint in the top of my head.  I felt fine yesterday but today have been very very dizzy and my eyes are all blurry.  I have also been feeling very sick. 

Do you think that this could be because of the bump or just a coindcidence and if it is then should I go to the hospital?  I cannot get into my doctors because all their emergency appointments have gone.

i would go to the emrgency room just to be on the safe side, someone i know banged their head and felt like that, he went to A & E and  it turned out to be mild concusion and he was off work for a few days. Get someone to take you if you can. Better to be safe than sorry

You must get yourself checked right now.  It might be nothing, but equally it could be serious. Go to your local hospital.

I'm a First Aider and I agree that you should get yourself down to a hospital. Your symptoms are not unusual after bashing your head, but they must always be checked out by a doctor.

Well I have been to the a&e with my dad and they have confirmed I have mild concussion.  So its a good job I went.

I'm glad to hear you're okay! When I did my first aid course the instructor kept going on and on about head injuries and how everyone who bangs their head must see a doctor. I take it you'll be having some painkillers, cocoa and a nice early night!
