Red ankle

Ive been bitten on my ankle and its very itchy red and swollen-what could of feasted on me?

I got bit by something couple weeks ago on my shoulder.It came up like a ring of little blisters,and about 10mins later a few tiny blisters appeared on my upper arm and shoulder.Ive never had a bite like this befor,ive got a scar there now too.

it could have been anything! the mosquitos love me when im abroad but i never get bit here (touch wood) but my mom is permanently being bitten by things here! get some antihistamine cream is the only answer i have im afraid!

if it was a mad dog you could try a rabies shot.

Hi patriciather, I also got bitten on my ankle about 3-4 weeks ago, I didn't notice it at the time, it was on a tuesday evening in the garden, by friday I was in alot of pain as my ankle had swollen up and was red & hot.  I went to the doctors that day, she said I'd had a severe reaction to whatever had bitten me & gave me antibiotics as it had become infected.  It has only gone back to its normal size.  I think there are some nasty super bugs about, it has left me with a scar, I bought a tube of Hydrocortisone Cream which helped with the itching.  I wish you well soon, I do sympathize with you as I know how you must be feeling.  :-)

I tried the prune juice and fresh orange,about 4 hours ago ==still waiting but can feel summat happening! THANKS
