Right, Strange Internet Connection Issue, Help Please.
8 Answers
I have a laptop that connects okay to a router but cannot access the internet via the router. However the strange thing is that I've tried connecting the same laptop to two other routers and it connects to the internet no problem. I am completely stumped as to what could be happening here.
Just to confirm, the router that the laptop can't access the internet via, can be accessed by my phone and connect to the internet so it does not seem to be a problem with the router, and the laptop connects to the other two routers I've tried and works okay.
Weird, does anyone know what could be causing this?

We've already tried this lot: http:// www.the answerb ank.co. uk/Tech nology/ Questio n127676 1.html
For Flobadob:
Try going to Start > Run, entering 'cmd' (without the quote marks) into the box and clicking 'OK'. Then type 'ipconfig/renew' (again without the quotes).
If that doesn't work it might be necessary to reconfigure the router. It's not particularly difficult but you'd need to ensure that you've got all of the relevant information about settings from your ISP.

Did all that, Bluetooth isn't activated either. As I say, strange. Also earlier when I was resting with the other two routers I only closed the lid but it connected to those.
As I say, it does connect to the router but can't access internet. Also I've deduced it is nothing to do with the distance to the router.
