Robbie Williams Suspicious Minds TOP OF THE POPS
Robbie Williams performed a version of Suspicious Minds on Top Of the Pops around the time he was promoting Let Love be Your Energy in 2001 (The Robster must have gone into the TOTP's studio and recorded Let Love be Your Energy and also a cover of Suspicious Minds on that particular occasion). I believe there are two versions of Suspicious Minds that Robbie recorded. Robbie performed a couple of bars of the Elvis track and then introduced Elvis as having the number one single on TOTP that week. TOTP's then played in the Elvis video.
Approximately a week later on TOTP BBC transmitted an entire version of Robbie performing Suspicious Minds which must have been taped the pervious week.
I can remember Robbie appearing on the TOTP's performing Let Love be Your Energy in a green combat style jacket and a camouflage base ball cap. I've spoken to the BBC but they don't have any info on this footage anywhere. Does any body have any info?
