I seem to have accumulated about 40 shopping bags - not plastic bags, the nice fabric ones from the supermarkets.....

and bits of wood, and curtain wires (we haven't had nets for years), and yards of blue-tow rope.... I can understand that, I had a roofrack on my old car. And several briefcases, and.... and....

... a stainless steel breadbin, two flourescent jackets, a cardigan which has faded all down one side because it's been hanging on a hook near the window... two draught excluder sausages, nibs' spare sleeping bag, a cardboard box full of plastic bags, a plastic storage container of handbags, a bin bag which i fear will be full of shoes....

... a picture of some penguins falling off an iceberg, several useful bits of hardboard off the back of old picture frames, a beaded curtain, a curtain, a box of old paperwork "for filing" ....

Only one mound of cat sick - that is a suspiciously low number. I hate to think what I would find under my bed should I ever clean the area.

I have a cupboard that I seemed to remember as being empty. I looked in it a few weeks back and found some dog leads that I purchased about ten years ago in anticipation of getting another dog (got cats instead), a new pushchair that I bought to help me take the moggies to the vet (not one of my better ideas) and a couple of huge bags of cat litter that the morons refuse to use - I didn't look any further but one day I will have to be brave. One day ..................
