Would I stay in that year? No. Some heartaches along the way. Have seen children marry and produce wonderful grandchildren.
Had highs and lows in my career. Moved to the coast and had a challenging career change. Went back to my first love, teaching, not without its problems. Many highs.
Can mostly communicate by computer.
Health scares but happy, thanks to my Aber friends.
No I don't want to live forever. On my second half of my 80s I'm experiencing things I'd seen in older people but, thought they just weren't trying or given up.. the body works in mysterious ways. Mother nature can be very cruel.
20 years ago my own mother, to me, appeared not to cooperate with things I suggested hoping to help her back on track... one day I actually shouted at her, "don't you cooperate will you" she just stared at me.. 'sorry Mum'..I now know from experience you were cooperating as best you could.
We become a burden..even to the most loving caring family.
Everything has a life span..I don't believe in life after death!
If I did I'd expect those ashes of my husband to be giving some sign by now.
I'm sorry I shall miss seeing my Great Grandchildren grow up..etc 😔
