Can you honestly not remember anything once you've had the jab? How long does that effect last? Does it make you say/do daft things then, that you might not remember as well? I thought it just relaxed you. I'm worried now, because I was going to try it next time I went.
Please dont be worried dmsjps,years ago i had an injection that completly knocked me out- that was before they used to give valium-valium is so different .it relaxes you soooo much! with the old injection they used to use -well... it made you talk utter rubbish when you woke up! i was tired when i got home but an hours kip sorted me out.{valium :D}
Intravenous sedation is fantastic. You are awake the whole time, but you just don't remember a thing. If you do start to come round, they give you a bit more to put you "out" again.
mydogsandme the injection is given by the dentist. It odesn't make you sick like the old laughing gas used to do. You do however usually need somebody to escort you home after.
A couple of hours sleep usually helps, and take some ibuprofen before you go to the dentist.
I was petrified of going to the dentist to have 2 wisdom teeth out, but I would go again if I could have IV sedation
