I hurt my hand punching a guy (in self defense)in a fight, about 16 or 17 days ago. Its not as sore now, but still sore when i try and shake hands or lift any of my heavy weights. Should i see a doctor?

PS its not sore the rest of the time, only when i do those two things. Although i suspect i may struggle at bowling.
if it is broke they can't do anything about it any way it'll knit back together on its own, done mine twice!!
It might be best for you to visit your GP - just in case.
No, but you may get spots before your eyes.
Which bit of your hand is sore when you lift stuff??
It depends which bone in the hand you have broken. If it is one of the 2 bones running from your middle and ring finger in the palm of your hand, then as the>one says, they won't do anything for it. If it is one of the outer bones (little and index finger), they may need to pin the bones. Your GP will probably send you for an x-ray

Its tthe bone that extends from my ring finger. I   reckon ill probs visit the gp anyway, my broken foot hasnt healed since xmas so need to get that looked at too. Thanks !

Ah, you shouldn't hit people with that knuckle it's not strong - Oh you know that now don't you - sorry.

When it's better you should give Karate a try, they'll teach you how to hit people without breaking your hand.

Good for keeping fit too especially if you find things like jogging or swimming boring
