On the blade of my food chopper, it bled like you know what.
Not a flipping plaster in the house, so when it eased I superglued it.
Blimey it worked.
Should there be a spray to repair cuts?

Most things are now. If it worked it would be worth the price.
i read somewhere that superglue was originally invented to seal wounds, and they realised it had other uses.

i have also heard that some of the brands may use stuff that isn't suitable for skin any more

but superglue on wounds it is not a new thing

I think you can buy little steri-strips. anyway the bleeding has stopped, sso the diy remedy has worked,
I've used super glue on my dog before. She had a wound that refused to close and the vet bill was reaching it's max per condition. So the next time it started to open I glued it... worked a treat!

'Superglue' was actually invented to stick wounds together. The original intention was to provide a quick way to join wounds together in battle field situation until proper medical help was available.
Many years ago when i used to go rock climbing, we always carried a tube of superglue in case we tore any skin off. Brilliant stuff.
I used to think if you got a cut there you'd get lockjaw. Is that no longer accepted medical wisdom?
any cut/wound sandy especially with dirt, re tetanus injections.
Naaah! Lockjaw...caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani is rare due to immunisation of children with the antitoxin and tretament of wounds.

The wounds have to be deep as the bug doesn't like air and of course if the wound bleeds a lot, then the germs tend to get washed away.
So deep, dry wounds are ideal....but superficial, bleeding wounds tend not to be dangerous.

Never seen a case of tetanus in a lifetime of medical practice.

Well, a day later on, and it stays nicely closed. It is not stinging, red or anything. Popped a plaster on it in shower, (water and superglue etc).
Usually metal caused cuts do sting, this hasn't.
