The sunshine persuaded me to go out on the bike. My word...it was hard work up the incline to the end of the road.....If I go down the hill I will never get back...I thought....so...

I decided to dismount...if that's the word...and sit on the kerb...looking casual as you do......except my legs were wobbly and I could have inflated a bouncy castle I was breathing so hard....I am out of condition... :-(

That was when I realised that the key I should have inserted to start the battery was still on my sideboard at home......numpty.....

I sauntered home....well I wan't doing any more pedaling than I had to...
picked up the key and I have not only had a fantastic pedal assisted spin around town but this bike takes me back up the long hill to home with no effort at all...I love this yet to be named bike!...☺

Anyway, how does it work then gness? Can you choose whether to put the engine on when you are actually cycling? Is there an on/off switch so that when you came to an incline you can just switch it on?

Right....it's a bike with a large battery connected to the back wheel. If you remember to put the key in and turn it you have three levels of assist. So you can pedal with no power as I did by mistake or with little, some or lots of power to help.
There is also a button which when pressed activates a throttle so you can ride it a bit like a moped I suppose...just sit back legs outstretched and Wheeeeeee! And that's as much as I know as yet.....☺

Bright pink clips, Tony....and no vibration at all, Baldric...a very slight hum that is barely noticeable.
