Pain In Chest And Back

I have had pain in my ribs at the back (not unbearable) and behind my sternum for sometime. I have had blood tests taken on Thursday and am waiting for the results. I have now developed a cough and am somewhat worried. Advice please! TIA

From your post, you are clearly not short of breath and the cough has only just come on today.Your GP saw you less than 48 hours ago and I would consider, that there is little to worry about at this stage.
monitor the situation for the next 48hours.

Still coughing and being violently sick whilst doing so. Doc says its bronchitis and gave me co-amoxyclav. Blood tests were all NAD

The pain you describe is not uncommon with a chest infection, the antibiotics will kick in soon I hope.
