Ear Candles

Has anyone had their ears done with ear candles ? Did it work , was it uncomfortable ?

There are easier and safer ways to remove wax than setting fire to it.

There are certainly dangers and as you might expect, i wouldn't advice it.

I would recommend that you softened the wax up with olive oil or Cerumol for a couple of days and then go and see your GP or GP nurse and have them syringed.

I thought it was a joke, the first time I saw it advertised, it must be quite likely to set your hair on fire.

Well, I presume they are safer than fork handles.
