Following on from mikey444's post, why are all fairies female?
How can we have new ones, if there are no male fairies?

Fairies aren't born though........on a warm sultry evening a gentle breeze blows across a dandelion clock and the florets drift away into the long, soft grass. At midnight, as the church clock strikes, a moonbeam strokes the little seeds and they turn into fairies.....

You do have bloke fairies, they just dress in frocks so you can't tell the difference.
Pass me the sherry & my crochet-work please :+)
Bit like the priests and nuns when I was growing up, Boxy...except the fairies are kind....
Morning, Dave....been collecting dew soaked spider webs for the crotchet then?....☺
the Telegraph has kindly provided a guide to getting a man on New Year's Eve

over to you to decide if he's really a fairy
What about Oberon
I thought fairies were born from a baby's first laugh. Heard that straight from the fairy's mouth, so to speak. (Programme on over Christmas, probably Disney Channel.)

I guess the French don't call them 'pis en lit' for nothing Gness.
Oberon came from the largest and strongest seed head.

I think....the sound of the church clock in the distance could be mistaken..in a sleepy haze...for a baby's laugh.

Jno...printed that off...but it does seem like a lot of effort....I may just stick to the builder...

Spot on, Ferlew...MrG's face certainly lit up when he had his first pee in five years.
Novelty soon wore off for me when we had to stop every twenty minutes on a long journey..
Men never do things by halves, do they?
Thank you, Ferlew...have a magical New Year.....xxx
Suppose the nearest church is ten miles away and it's a moonless night when the gentle breeze blows across the dandelion clock.......?
Shoota...the gentle breeze knows to take the little seedheads swirling through the air and it lays them down close to a church...with a clock.

The seedheads stay curled and sleeping until it is a moonlit night....then they stir a little....just enough to let the moon know where to cast the magical beams......♥
So if its heavy cloud do the little blighters just perish or do they become dandelions?
Would you two like a dandelion and burdock? lol! xx
They have been dandelions.....they are the chosen ones....they wait....☺

Yes, Cupid....that would be nice....chilled please....x
I've heard it called many things Cupes but never D&B.

(Actually I really like D&B - the drink that is.....)
Suppose they drift into a crevice in a wall where the moon don't shine?
Frisky on the fairy thread, whatever next:-)
They can't do that if they are the chosen ones....the gentle breeze is very wise......the gentle breeze knows.....x
Naughty on the gnome thread?
