Peircing problems

I've had my lip peirced for about 2 years now and it's making the area around it on my lower lip very sore and the ring is getting stiff in the hole. I've never had any problems with this before, so could someone with experience tel em if this is just a 'thing' or an infection or what, and if I should worry about it(I'm prone to that)

Have you knocked it recently? Sometimes this can upset the piercing and make it a bit sore. How long has it been like this?

Have you a stainless steel ring or titanium?

Titanium is better.

I ended up wearing a stud instead but eventually took that out too as it was wearing my gum away.

i would get it seen to asap.  you could get blood poisoning which is v serious
