Ibuprofen And Booze
16 Answers
Would it be ok if I took 600mg of Ibuprofen and had a couple of Jack Daniels before I went to bed. My neck is causing me a major problem this week but I'm really fancying a drink.

However, I would make the JD's small ones just to be on the safe side. If the neck's no better in a day or two perhaps a visit to the doc.s might be wise (unless it's an ongoing problem, of course.)

Done nothing but rest since Sunday methly, getting on my nerves now as I'm not ill but feeling pretty useless.
On the plus side Mr Racoon is doing all the housework and walking the dog :)
400mg of Ibu wasn't touching the pain so I upped it by a tablet, seems to help a bit more. Just wish I could get comfortable in bed, no matter where I put the pillows it's not right.

Rocky save your money. In order to provide pain relief they have to immobilise and therefore , they have to be so tight as to be uncomfortable. This isn't good for muscle tone either. Warmth can help its true but you will get as much warmth from a scarf or roil neck sweater and not look like Mrs Tishell out of Doc Martin.
