Why do we laugh so much at people passing wind? (Being polite as it's Sunday) Been watching Police Academy where someone dropped one in a lift, and I was in fits, are we all the same?
I remember years ago, when I'd just started I a new job, that the elderly lady who was training me suddenly broke wind. I was literally biting my arm in a useless effort to not laugh and she got up and went to the lavatory in tears..................I got told off for upsetting her!
Years ago when I used to go out with a friend in her car I used to have to get her to stop in a lay-by or suitable place if I needed to pass wind as she ' d laugh so much she was a driving hazard!
I once did a phart that sounded like ET. I laughed for half an hour over it!
Carlton, bless him, once said that he used to try and cover the sound, and indeed the smell by doing it into a cushion, but it didn't work!
