Tuesday. Not a cloud in sight and a big moon shining. A little bit warmer this morning and the wildlife are making the most of it. Something that doesn't know me went crashing through the bushes, probably a small deer.
The funeral yesterday went as well as a funeral can. Well attended and the green of Cotswold Canals Trust was well represented. After a round trip of 230 miles I was glad to get home and have a serious conversation with a rather nice bottle of red.
It went as well as such an occasion can peas. On the way back I was amazed at the antics of some idiots on the motorway, passing on the inside, swapping lanes without indicating, carving up lorries and cars. It's only due to the fast reactions and skill of an army driver that avoided a serious accident.
agreed, it's scary on the roads at times. mind you, I watched the Moto GP highlights last night, now that truly was terrifying - how on earth they cling on round corners I'll never know. Great to watch
The OH was thinking out loud ''..dear Santa, please can I have one of those bikes for Christmas if I'm really good this year?''
I've never said 'don't even think abaaaat it' quicker! lol
