Tube Strike Next Week
10 Answers
In view of potential tube strike next week, what's the best way to get to Stamford Bridge from St Pancras? (Strike over by 9 p.m. so should be o.k. to go back on tube).
Don't particularly like buses, so is there a good overground way to get there, and also don't mind walking couple of miles.
Thanks ( will be bit slow to thank anyone personally as won't be home till gone midnight )

I'd come out of the station, turn right along Euston Road, past Euston Station and into Gower Street by University College Hospital. Then you get a No 14 all the way to the ground.
But they'll be busy.
Incidentally, this is a 'Pay before boarding' bus. If you don't have an Oyster Card, then you'll need to get a ticket from the machine by the bus stop.

Does your train into St Pancras call at Bedford?
If so, alight there and take a train to West Hampstead Thameslink station. (Departures at 24 & 54 minutes past the hour. Journey time 50 mins).
Walk to West Hampstead station. (It's under 200 yards!).
Then take a train to West Brompton. (Frequent service. Just over 20 minutes journey time).
Easy peasy!
