Retinal hole repair - my husband is due to have this procedure in June and has been told he has to hold his head down for 24 - 48 hours. Anyone out there who has had this procedure, how did you manage to hold your head down all that time? Many thanks.

I had to have my head down for 15 hours a day for 2 weeks after surgery for a detached retina. I was lent, by the hospital, a frame to put my face in. For a short time I crossed my arms on a pillow and rested my forehead on them.
