Could be carpal tunnel syndrome or RSI as it is more commonly known - a quick trip to the docs will put your mind at ease

could also be raynurds syndrome, but would also agree to go the docs

does it get worse in cold areas  even just walking through the freezer section of a shop, or cold water?

if so possibly raynauds syndrome.
