nose piercing...

my question sounds a bit stupid, anyways...
well i have wanted to get my nose pierced for a LONG time now, i want to get it done tomorrow! but as i am very self conscious about my skin i do wear a lot of make up and was wondering if you must remove the make up on your nose for them to pierce it. again i know it sounds stupid but its pretty serious for me.i really need some answers so your help would be really appreciated!!!

It's not a stupid question manda_1919.

For hygiene reasons you should remove make-up from the area being pierced. And keep some tissues handy as well as the piercing sensation can cause your nose to run unexpectedly and you don't want to walking around with a big bogey hanging from your nose!

In most reputable piercing places they will wipe the area of your nose with a sterilised wipe before piercing so if you have make up on there it'll come off.

Just make sure you go proper piercing place,get it done with needle not gun.Ive had mine done bout 8 years know
