What's the best thing to use to get rid of hard skin on soles of your feet ? I've seen that 'express pedi' product but it's quite pricey. Any other suggestions please ?

I would recommend going to a beauty salon for a pedicure. A deluxe pedicure. Absolute bliss.
I have the non-electric ped egg thing and that's not bad but the best I've found (although it's a bit yucky) is to soak your feet in a bowl of hot water laced with a dollop of Ariel/Persil and after about 10 minutes give them a good scrape with a hand held metal rough skin remover. Dry and moisturize.
This is something I have overcome, Just get my husband to massage my feet with foot cream four or five times a week, they stay lovely and soft.

Can I borrow your husband Ubasses ? ;-)
I do what you do prudie. Very relaxing soaking feet in a bowl while watching tele.
I do have a foot spa but I feel so old when I sit with my feet in it. I always hide upstairs.
So do I (I feel like I'm turning into my mum :-)
Prudie, I couldn't use Persil or Ariel. I can't even use those to wash my clothes, never mind my feet.

I'd go all lumpy.
I will think of an appropriate rate to charge purple_popple.
I always use Carex moisturising shower cream, lovely soft soapy feet.
Just a few drops in the bowl is enough.
I feel like an old bird too, but tough annit, haha.
I use a ped-egg thingy & it does help. I then use a moisturiser & apply it again before bedtime & wear an old pair of socks. It definitely helps x
....and wearing socks does nothing for you either. You turn into your granny, not your mother.
You really can't beat a good soak, then an exfoliating cream, rinse and have a go with a good pumice stone, then dry and moisturise, then go to bed with spa socks or nice cotton socks. In the morning your feet should be nice and soft.
lol @ Tilly.
Quarter cup of blue mouthwash, quarter cup of vinegar, half cup of warm water - soak for ten minutes and the rough skin just soaks off.
My feet won't fit in a half cup of water, Lankeela. Have you got that right.
There's a small stiff black scratchy block I buy from an ordinary chemists, - not Boots, and not Scholls - it comes in a transparent plastic box about the size of 2 matchboxes, and has a green label. I wish I could remember what it is called. Just go and look on the footcare counter of your local chemists. It works a treat - if only you can identify it. It may be called something like "Chiropody sponge" or "Chiropody pad"
Sorry, I threw the box away.
I was going to recommend Ped Egg until I saw Atalanta's post - these are they

Brilliant little things!
Lol Tilly, I use the washing up bowl!
