Scar reduction patches

Has anyone tried the scar reduction patches from Boots or Elastoplast? Did they make a noticable difference?

(and before anyone else mentions it, yes, I have heard of bio-oil!)

I used them for a while. My scar is no longer raised, although it is still fairly noticeable. I didn't persevere with them long enough though. My friend uses them and she says she's had fairly good results.

hi yeah I used the one from boots religiously for six months, wore it day and night on a long raised scar on my upper arm, and i think it made alot of difference. you can still see the scar, i wasnt expecting it to be gone completely, but it is no longer raised, it has flattened it right out, so it is pretty much the same level as the rest of my skin! i think they're great, but only really for raised scars, i dont think they would make much difference on a scar that was flat already. hope this helps!
