I'm looking for a tablet pc for OH who likes to read, browse the net, skype, look at photos but isn't into gaming. He's also a bit of a tesco addict so maybe a Hudl is on the cards, but I'd welcome any consumer insights from the AB community. What has worked for you? TIA.

I love my hudl! You can use rewards towards it. If you go to the help desk and ask they may even double the rewards you have!

Decman...can the world hold such riches?
The attraction with the Hudl at the moment is the price drop ... down to £99.00. ... and if you happen to have any club card vouchers, they have the club card boost on at the moment and you will only need £50.00 of vouchers as they have double their face value at the moment.
One of the best deals around for an all together far superior tablet is the Samsung Tab Pro from John Lewis ... http://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-galaxy-tabpro-tablet-qualcomm-snapdragon-android-8-4-16gb-wi-fi/p1201468?kpid=233110768&s_kenid=77be6d9a-e86c-30c9-83a6-0000768ee6be&s_kwcid=128x50732&tmad=c&tmcampid=73
I have the Hudl but find it heavy to hold when reading in bed.

A bit slow too. I wouldn't recommend it.
The rewards that are due any day are doubled up for almost everything. Have fun picking what to buy.
