It is such a difficult subject for doctors to bring up with parents of children.
It is amazing how many children make the decision on their own. I think that donating organs is a brilliant idea, but I respect that many people do not wish to do so.

People with cancer are generally not accepted as organ donors with the exception of those with primary brain tumours which have not spread beyond the brain stem.
They are accepted both in the US and the UK..
