If you screw up realy big time with someone who you realy love, how do you say sorry, so they understand you mean it ?

Say you are sorry, as soon as the time is right, and very plainly. (That is, be clear in accepting the blame and being sorry for it.) In many cases, though not all, it is best not to explain further as to why you did what you did, but to give reassurance that you won't do it again.

I'd say most people only ever say sorry when there is something in it for them - for instance if they couldn't bear to be by themselves, so they beg an ex partner to take them back. Sorry is usually a selfishly-motivated word, and am positive I am right in this case!

say you are genuinely sorry, explain why you did it (if it is a good reason)..and BUY A PRESENT!
