Eye Update

I'm not long back from the eye hospital. I can't see properly at the moment. There is some good news and some not so good news but it's NOT bad. The good news is that there is NO new vessels in my right eye at all. What was seen was either old but there is nothing new forming. It may have been the small one we already knew about. Left eye...haemorrhage is not there or cannot be seen so chances are it has sorted itself out but they do need to perform more laser treatment on the eye as there is something there that needs dealing with I think it maybe a few new vessels she spotted. So here goes...

Always refreshing to walk out of there isn't it? Even though I usually bump into everything on the way out and for the next three hours.

It wasn't as bad as I thought Mamya you are very right there.

I had dad with me I always make sure I have a guide human with me. But sunglasses and all I still had my eyes screwed shut against the light. But all being well it should settle soon :)

You are right about the eyes Mamya, she's blundering about the house, I'm a big girl and she can't even see me! Maybe we could train one of the cats to guide her around the house until her eyes settle down. Good news all in all, though it could have been much worse

Good it isn't so bad as might be feared. Wonder what the thing to be dealt with, is.

I usually have to go alone and last time accosted a guy in a high viz jacket (the only thing I could see) to use my phone to call a cab home.

Most definitely is the drops...she put plenty if those in.

I think it may just be small vessels OG. Other than that I can't tell you.

Mamya next time...I'll come with you. But that did make me giggle though, but as long as he called you a cab that's the main thing

I'm doing ok now Anne, been clinging on to dads arm most of the afternoon. Can see fine now but still sensitive to light.

It is Woofy. At least I know what's in store and that's only half the pain coz it's only one eye. I feel different too. I know what's coming I know what to expect and at the moment I'm not bothered or phased.
