Hi Sandy - have finally taken the plunge and have made an appointment with that dentist you recommended. I can no longer suffer any more as I feel more and more teeth are loose. Reading from the last list she gave me in 2011 I had then very badly infected gums etc etc - so I am thinking it is more my gums than teeth. Hope I haven't left it too late. Thanks Sandy for telling me about this dentist and hope she lives up to my expectations.

good luck, jj. Losing teeth one by one is not nice (I had another one out last week), and the sooner they're seen to the longer you'll keep them.

jj, if you have gum problems the dentist will probably refer you to seeing the hygenist.

Tony I do realise re hygienist but I am going private and have been to her before but opted out of treatment due to fear - so she knows what she will be doing ie whilst she is a dentist she is also a hygienist and of course and anaesthetist (spelt wrongly).

Me too Tony. I am ashamed of myself tho being such a baby when I know poor sick people coming through much more. Will be thinking of those people when I get into the CHAIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. LOL
