What does it feel like. Is it like a fluttering in the chest area upon eating or drinking. Or is it a burning feeling coming up in your throat on bending over ?

From my experience, it feels like red hot lava erupting up into your throat. It's very painful.

That's not what I have got then. When I eat or drink (not always) after its gone down my gullet I get this wavy fluttering feeling.
Mine felt like having a lump in my upper chest and throat and needing to keep swallowing and coughing to try and clear it.
Can I just add that my reflux was diagnosed via a camera down my throat under general anaesthetic.
I have never had heartburn from it, the reason for the camera was because my symptoms could have been from reflux or barrett's oesophagus and they had to check which.

Thanks scrivens, that's very useful information. xx
Sounds like arrhythmia to me. Or maybe you just have a nerve which wants to tic for some reason. I'd not worry about it if I were you unless it is becoming regular in which case get your GP to check it out.

\\\\ Or is it a burning feeling coming up in your throat on bending over ?\\\

Spot on in 90% of cases of acid reflux.

All the other symptoms are "rank outsiders."

It could be a type of hiatus hernia putting pressure on the Vagus nerve.
I had very bad acid reflux a few years ago and along with the burning I got the fluttering too. I had a bad episode whilst in the UAE and was given an anti spasmodic (no idea what it was called) anyway, it along with some antacids did the trick. Btw I had my heart checked and it wasn't that. I do occasionally get it now and find ranitidine does the trick. I would get it checked by your GP.
I have had this long term and I require surgery to fix it.

I get

Tickly cough
Throat clearing
Sharp chest pain
Burning chest and stomach
A nasty taste in my mouth
Regurgitation
And other symptoms

Certain foods make my life much more miserable than usual but in general it happens most of the day every day. They say lifestyle changes can help cure it.

I only need surgery as it's the extreme with no relief from medication, although I am currently trialling a different drug and I'm having success besides the drowsiness it causes.

Hope you feel better!
Sammy,i have this fluttering nausea type feeling and an ongoing "non painful" indigestion. Lots of minor burping and a major retching feeling when bending over. I have found that it is "trapped burping wind" if i lean over the bathroom sink to the left and then slowly to the right,I can create a loud "burp" which frees the wind almost immeadiately.
