Awake At 03:40!

I expect that I'm not the only one awake. We are having pounding sub tropical rain and crashing thunder! This is the beginning of the rainy season on the Costa del Sol and I shall be quite happy to board my plane tomorrow and wave it a fond farewell.
Now, can I fall asleep again???

It's always nice to return to the place 'you' call home that has your own stamp on things, your own oasis so to speak stitcher.

We've had non stop rain here in Ibiza since Tues, my pool is overflowing. I wasn't aware that we had a rainy season in Spain, these storms come anytime from July onwards. So great that the dreadful heat and humidity has gone.

There in Zim we haven't had rain since April. Will be looking forward to the season which starts mid November.

On the Costa Del Sol the rains usually herald the coming of autumn sometime in October so it was a bit early this year but you can also have years with little or no rain but that isn't normal. You still see the tourists going around in shorts and thin t shirts though even though they would definitely put on more if they were at home. It's the power of positive thinking...I am in Spain it SHALL BE WARM.
