i have one too !! great fun !
Just finished my evening twist.

It seems to be working better on my hips than my waist. Perhaps the flab around the waist is harder to shift.
Retro - I was looking at your twister - I imagine since there is nothing to "hold" onto I would fall off.

Would love these tiny trampoline with handles - somebody on here posted about them. Anyway do you easily fall off
Remember reading about this some time ago. Could you give me a link with some information, please?
Tony you would have to be really hoop otherwise it just falls to the ground.

Thats right, jj. But that is where the exercise come in.
Yont. I have tried a hoola hoop. I can't make it stay up anymore. That was a childhood skill. Besides which, I don't want to do my back in!
Thanks for posting the link, Mamya. It's gone down in price since I got mine.
Retrochic, you like things vintage/retro. Here is a nice wireless for you to exercise by:) http://i57.tinypic.com/aovsw3.jpg
Yes there is a skill to Hula Hooping.
Thank you Mamyalynne
You could twist away whilst listening to "Housewives' Choice".
Oh, I spelled Hula, wrongly. Tut.
any reason the twister doesn't do your back in?
I've got one now as well, not lost my balance yet!!

Some suitable music helps.

Jno, I think the difference with the twister is that you start with small movements, and as you become more supple, you can extend the twists.

to answer a few questions jenny -its quite small and my size 5 feet just about fit it .OH had a go but couldn't keep his balance (his excuse I think) You can do it sitting down which may bean option if you think you might fall off it. Thanks for the link stuey , I'm timing it on my iPhone and twisting along to 'lets twist again like we did last summer ' Great Fun! I think it may strengthen your back as I have the occasional back problem and the doc said if I strengthen my core it will help. Its so convenient and small you can just leave it in the bathroom or under a chair. Thanks Tilly!
You are welcome. Retro. I hope it works for you.

Mr T has problems with it too. He hangs on to the bedpost and twists. He says it different for me because I'm a dancer! It's still works for him though.
