Shoulder Pain

I have had a very very stiff upper shoulder pain for about 3 years or now.

I have had physio on it both NHS and private. However, it is very stiff and I cannot raise my arm.

I know what I THINK I need - it is somebody who will massage it to get it moving again.

What kind of a therapist would do this so that I can look one up in my area. Thanks.

I wish there was someone who could massage a shoulder better but there isn`t. If you can`t move it, you might have some impingement which would be confirmed by an MRI scan.
237SJ is "right on the money"......you need an MRI scan.

Well would that mean a trip to the doctor to get him to organise an MRI. I so loathe wasting doctor's time. Would it help to write to him.

I did get a cortisone injection last January but it didn't help.

It is a well worn route.

See you GP, give him your story.

Suggest to him in a non confrontational and non aggressive manner that an MRI scam might help.
Question Author
LOL - like it Sqad - that I would like an MRI Scam.
JJ/Conn I have seen you say before that you don't like to waste the GP's time and that is admirable, but that is their job, to help each patient with all ills major and minor.

Go see them and ask for a Scan (or a Scam if they have one) ;-)
