It's a bit like comparing a toothbrush to a feather duster. Once they are past the bristle stage it will probably be soft and luxuriant.
You could try hair conditioner or just save some money on "Brillo pads".

It's fairly long now but still as rough as a badgers thinnymagig. Perhaps I'm just one of those doomed not to have a beard as silken as that of the Pophet.
I haven't touched a Brillo pad for decades, but the thought of them still makes me shudder.

Wolf - under the duvet, on her Kindle Fire, Perth.

are the pussy cats snuggled in there too?
That could be the case Sandy.
My only advice would be stay away from rampant badgers.

I've just finished the second bottle. Nothing for it now but bed. Night all.
Night Sandy....sleep well.
No dreaming of pot scrubbing or badgers ;-)
No - they have decided to sleep in their cardboard boxes. They are strange animals, so different from dogs. Frankie was doing his Lassie impersonation earlier, alerting me to the fact that the dried food in his bowl had been partially eaten. Maybe even Skippy - ,he was a bit boring though.

I think tis time to try and get back to sleep. I hope today is a good day.
Baby oil, sandy. Works on horses' manes and tails... ;-)
'a bottle of baby oil please, it's for my beard' ... 'of course it is sir'
L'Oreal conditioner, because you're worth it !!
Better than saying it's for your horse. Trust me :-)
Try coconut oil sandy. It comes in a solid form & you just scrape some off with your nails or a spoon & rub it in your hands first where it will go back to an oil then rub in your beard. Smells lovely too!
If you can not wait until it is a decent length, say a couple of feet, then you could split hairs. Being half as thick they will seem twice as soft. Might take a while to go through the lot though.
It's probably the last of the 'shaved' ends growing out sandy, when they are replaced by new growth with uncut ends your beard will be like a sable paintbrush.
Just made to stroke....
And should you need a stroker......♥
for a bit of levity - you haven't been copying Laurel & Hardy?
