Scottish Or Uk Computer Website That Provides A Free Chat Room.
9 Answers
Hi
Do you know of a Scottish or UK computer website that provides a free chat room managed or run by experts or professionals and not amateurs and/or volunteers?
Please do not suggest Bleeping Computer (I am a registered member), Computer Hope and/or Northern Aurora Tech. This is because I already about them but I do not want to visit those sites because of a personal reason. Also, they are not Scottish or UK based websites.
Also, please do not suggest eugenecomputergeeks.com and reddit.com because both sites are not based in Scotland or the UK.
Thank you from

Once connected, join a channel called #advice
Quakenet is a gaming based (originally) network, however it runs channels for support including programming support.
The commands are rather simple to get your head around (/join #channel).
I was a staff member for #advice about 7 years ago and put in over 14 hours a day for free. Any question you have, as long as it is one that you can't just google (as this will infuriate members) then they will know.
They might be able to answer all the other questions you have asked today as well. Don't go into #help and ask for advice though otherwise you'll be GLINED.

Hi Dizmo
Thank you for your answer.
It's the only 1 that I have
received from anyone as I
have asked and posted the
question elsewhere.
Will copy and keep it for
further reference.
Also, you asked me
"What advice is it that
you actually need?" +
"Can you be more
specific?"
My answer is what you
stated in your previous
reply: "They might be
able to answer all the
other questions you
have asked today"!
Thank you again
