back again after power going abruptly back of 8 am..apologies to GMEB for my sudden departure....gawd how much more of this is to come ? have spent the mrning cleaning windows with new window vax ...fortunately charged...but in silence..MUST buy something with batteries for such eventualities..and II am ony just outside Edinburgh not in the bleeping outer Hebrides.....Scottish Power ..NO TE BENI .....rant over..can get a cup of tea now !

M M I was looking into the kercher window one . Is that the one you have and is it as good as they say . I decided against it due to the price of nearly £60 . For all the times I would use it I didn't think it was worth it and I don't have lots of windows

wendi i have the vax it is normally about £80 but was on offer with groupon at £30 ..would not pay more than that regardless of how good it is..but I admit it is good so far..when you think of it when cleaning you kind of just rub it in and around..this takes off...

It's been awful in most parts of the Highlands and Islands too. We've been very luck, the power only went off briefly during the night but some folk have been without electricity since Thursday night/Friday morning.

I hate to say it, but more storms have been predicted for the rest of the week...

The 'wilds' dont have electric-wired homes. Dont suffer for the sake of a generator, specially as fuel is cheap now.
