Hi i'm 16 and i would like some tips for talking to girls i'm very shy.

Hi benwoo -- it may be easier if you and the girls are all in a group together...maybe you could organise a function (bowling, a movie trip, etc.) with a bunch of your friends and encourage them to bring some of their friends that you don't know.  At least the function itself will be a starting point for you to strike up a conversation.  Just be yourself -- girls (and women for that matter) really just appreciate the effort.  Also, try just talking to girls that are just friends..that way you'll have plenty of practise when a girl you do like comes along! Good luck!
