Home For My Birthday
25 Answers
Shattering few days - started last Wednesday evening about 9pm when I had a small heart attack.
Sitting reading happily when the Angina started - rang my son, Ron, who lives in the same village and he was here in minutes and phoning for an ambulance.
I can't praise the NHS highly for the superb treatment received.
Discharged this evening - done some 'sorting out' and am more or less back to square one.
Will resume radio therapy tomorrow!
main thing is I will be home for my Birthday on Friday - which I was beginning to doubt. Don't we take so much for granted.
Hope all ABers are fit and well

Good to hear from you Jacklee and pleased you're feeling better. Take it easy now and enjoy planning for your birthday. Would you promise us something? That should you ever have an angina attack like that again you'll phone 999 and then phone your son rather than the other way round? Thanks - Just in case he's up the garden or something!

Oh Jack, so very sorry to hear about all your problems. I'm pleased to know that you're on the mend though and I wish you well with your RT. As you say, never take health, or anything else, for granted.
I agree with you about the NHS. It is very much maligned but I have only the highest praise for all their staff and for a very difficult job they have to do.
If we don't speak before Jack, I wish you a very happy birthday and, of course, a 100% recovery in you health. XXXXXXX
P.S. Let us know how you progress won't you?
