What does it matter if you don't shower every day? Some people are obsessed with showering twice a day which is ridiculous.

"We are talking about routines that literally take minutes out of your day. It's true that today's pace of life is fast but surely as a nation we haven't become too busy to wash.
"We were alarmed to hear about the number of women not looking after their skin by following basic skin care regimes.
"It is so important to clean your face daily and moisturise to slow down the ageing process."***
Would this be Flint+Flint the makers of skincare products, by any chance?

Some women "can't be bothered to remove their make up or brush their teeth before sleeping". I must be a slattern. I never think of removing makeup. It comes off when I wash in the morning. (I only wear eyeliner). And I brush my teeth after dinner, not immediately before bed.
I wonder where they got their statistics. I can't believe that many women would admit to not showering every day.
Showering twice a day is not necessary, I agree.

I know I had a bath every night in the summer...I remember the grubby mark around the bath. Not sure about winter, but it was certainly more often than once a week. My dad didn't bath as often as the rest of us...he was a once a weeker. I suspect we yanks bathed more often as having the facilities was more common, even when I was a child.
Dave, its not ridiculous to shower twice a day. I do it, i can't function if i don't and i can't sleep if i don't shower before bed. Its a force of habit, which i have done most of my life, i wouldn't change it. I personally think people should shower once a day, or once in two days, its not clean to not wash, and people can smell but can't smell themselves.
There was once a bloke i worked with and he had serious body odour, he left a trail of smell whenever he entered of left the office, in the end my boss had to tell him to maintain self hygiene (god knows how she managed that in a nice way), there is no excuse for making others suffer with your bodily smells urghh...but this is not a dig at anyone, just my opinion.
