I am not going to reply to every single query or question but to summarise:
Yes - moderators can remove their own posts and threads. It doesn’t happen very often and YES we always read the reason. Obviously, if we feel this action is being abused then we will revoke the moderator status.
Yes - we do read every report and post removal and user banning and suspension, sometimes we read through banned threads to get a feel for the context so no post is removed lightly, each one is considered in the context of the thread. Sometimes this means a post is not removed, and that is OK.
NO - you cannot have a reason why your individual post was removed. It is because it has broken the rules. Read the rules. Or why you were suspended or banned. If you come back under another username during a period of suspension or banning and we find out then we will ban you and keep banning you.
Yes - we do reinstate posts but this is extremely rare, you would be better off trying to find rocking horse manure. In almost all cases the post removal is judged to be correct.
Editing posts - not going to happen in the foreseeable future. Use notepad or word to pre-type your answer and spell check it before hand or risk typos if you want to be quick and funny, it’s up to you.
No plans for new categories or headings, thank you for the suggestions they have been noted and we will let you know.
Badges – unfortunately, there are higher priorities at the moment. If there is a change in the status we will let you know.
Of the huge numbers of posts everyday on the AnswerBank only a tiny percentage are removed, and most of those are spam. We think this is great and would like to keep it that way.
Please just try to be a little more civil to each other :-)
