is this problem related to stress? i used a 17quid toe liquid for about a month about a year ago, useless!! think a visit to the doctors is iminent?

Probably more likely due to a fungal infection - go get it looked at. They are very hard to shift.

If the nail was discolored, the cause was almost certainly fungal.

It is not stress related.

Dr sqad, seen the doc yesterday, he prescribed a solution which i have to paint on my big toes every night. he agreed that it was probably a fungal infection. But warned it could take up 6 months before i see any results.

I used Vicks on mine, worked a treat, I applied it twice a day.

Tea tree oil and coconut oil also work ( not together ). I know not very 'scientific', but if it works for someone,who's to argue.

tea tree oil. and to think i splashed out on some expensive chemical which might have a side effect.

annaesquith, by a coincidence i´m now suffering with a pain in my tooth, just like another pulse has embedded itself in my upper gum, so i´m laying off it for a few days and see. i think it might be stress related.
