You were kind enough to offer some advice a few months back.
The little fella had another bought of vomiting this week. He ended up in A&E on a drip due to severe dehydration, he couldn't even keep water down and it was getting near 48hrs since he last eat or drank anything.

You identified CVS as a possibility and this time the doctors have entertained this diagnosis for him.

However, they want to rule out pressure in his head as a possible cause of these spells and he is having a MRI in the week as an outpatient. I assume (I hate to admit it) that this is to rule out tumours?

He doesn't ever complain of headaches and his vomiting spells don't come with dizziness, he is just very lethargic.

jd......i have looked over my past conclusions and i still think that periodic cyclical vomiting is the likely diagnosis.

An MRI is a good next move, but i would be surprised if it came back other than normal.

The story doesn't sound like raised intracranial pressure.

Hi Sqad, they want to rule out worse case scenario's and work down I imagine.
He is back to his normal self now! The more I have researched CVS, the more it fits.
