... Today I went to try on my Wedding Dress (again) (not been properly asked yet but I wanted to see what was asked when I was asked in a drunken moment) I found it and today I went to take my gran who has Alzheimer's. Even though we haven't gotten on very well nice the start of the diseases was moved when she said 'you look beautiful, no you look stunning' it really did make me happy but sad at the same time.
Nice about your gran but a bit scary you trying on a wedding dress before you are even engaged. A girl can seem a bit too keen you know and scare the potential hubby away.
He has asked Retro but he was drunk - even though he remembers. We have discussed it and we do plan on getting married. I did ask him if it would be ok to do this as he knows I would love to have my gran there when we do tie the knot but I don't think it would be possible so this was something we thought would be ideal. He's seen me at my worst and he's still here though.
Mrs O I think shes bought the dress otherwise how would she have taken it to show her gran? Anyway Queenie I hope your gran sees you in it on your big day.
I haven't bought my dress - I'm saving up for the deposit. The ring is also aside in the jewellers. He has asked and I said yes but I requested he ask me again when sober and not at someone else's wedding.
I hope so to Retro...would be my dream even if she can't remember it I'd still want her to be part of it. It is because it would appear Im the only grandchild likely to get married.
