Not the best way to control your BP though.

i take tablets for blood pressure my gp put me on water tablets as well because i had fluid on my chest but my blood pressure keeps going very low

That sounds fine....a BP lowering tablet AND a diuretic.

How long have you been on the water tablets?

How does you low BP manifest e.g dizzy when you stand up?

been on water tablets for years but gp gave me furosemide a few weeks ago and yes i do feel dizzy when i stand up

Right.......just a suggestion.......i would ask your GP if he really knows that you are taking two diuretics and perhaps you should be on a BP lowering tablet AND a diuretic.

before i make any further comment to your post, i would like to know that your GP really wants you taking two diuretics.

i am on blood pressure tablets and he does know that i am on two duirectics thanks anyway

Consult your Doctor - they should be the one's advising you how to control your Blood Pressure.

There's no way you should be self-medicating!
