Well, it was a good one. My weight was about the same, my BP was 158/94 (see further down for details) and my hbA1c...down by 0.5 to 7.3 which is about 50mmol/mol (can't really explain the mmol/mol bit) they are really very pleased. They don't want me to get it any lower though. They have said if I want to consider starting a family then I can (I'm going to wait a year or so) but to keep up the good work. My nurse was so pleased I thougt she was going to high five me right there in the waiting room! Not due back until October.
I suffer from white coat syndrome hence the high BP, so she decided to send me for a 24 hour Blood Pressure monitor, all fine and dandy, it was high for a wee while. But I think it began to drop when I went for a wander (got off the bus a bit early) but can't complain it was a lovely day. OH treated me to dinner and home we came. Before bed no idea what BP was as it just read ---- but my sugars were low so had supper and off to bed I went...cue 2am hypo...get up stairs start to make a sarnie, come over all funny can't hear try to get to the chair at the table, but down I went hitting about 3 cupboards on the way. No idea what caused me to faint, not sure it was the hypo to be honest, but will mention it when I'm at hospital today.
Have been awake since 3am...long day ahead. Great day, spoilt by my Oscar winning fainting performance.
I'm not sure from 11pm it went onto checking hourly, and at the time it wasn't giving readings Hopkirk it was inflating and deflating but it was just giving ---- as a reading, will see what they say at the hospital, but I'd have thought so
Just a tad Alba, they think it's the BP but we won't know til the results come back. The cupboards are fine just don't argue with them. What gets me is I screamed at mum to get the BP thing off me I wasn't bothered that I was in pain with my arm. But I shall keep you informed xx
